ok i admit it i bought it but hey im probably the only one of the old crew to like bf2142.
first impressions of n strike is i like it :)the assault lines mode is good with nice infantry battles and bottle necks . gotta be worth the price of a pack of fags or 2 lol
ps only been playing tonite further review might follow
after reading replies on other forums about it i was trying to purchase it but with no luck on EA link due to card been rejected so i guess its until i get another card or a prepaid code from a shop. _________________
ordered mine from amazon lol and with slow shipping so it comes on my birthday lol which is tue looking forward to it just got to drag myself of vanguard a bit _________________

ok u do get a bit of lag now and then (i dont usually get that )
but love the level when u r the guys attacking a high level outpost (3 of them) and u all eject from apc to reach them. it is close quarter fighting at its best !manic!!! and if and when u break through to back bases ----rewarding ,with a definate need for squad play ,on your own your a dead un .even when defending it is just as manic.
also is it me or are the walkers easier to destroy by the infantry ?

got mine from GAME today, i asked the supervisor on the counter who i know is the second manager and he said they dont do the codes but if he only looked behind him in the glass shelves where the new releases are stored hed see the box in clear view,after pointing him to this i got it. _________________
Northern Strike is amazing (apart from the lag)! The maps are great and there are few/no choke points like on camp Gibralter. Even though there are some they are big enough for manuverability. I love Prt Bavaria, but the main problem is that if you are on PAC and the server has less than about 40 people on it's nearly impossible to destroy their Goliath.
PS- Is it laggy for everyone else or is it cos I have to share my Internet line with Wombateater and his powerhungry, connection hogging monster ( he calls it his 'computer')

glad, like me u thinks its good yup and port bravia is a classic map (the one i was trying to describe above)and as i said , small amount of lag at some stages in game .is it caused when goliath is on the move loaded to the max i dont know but i still think the small amount of lag doesnt spoil the game that much

At first i bought it for the unlocks ( assault extra rockets mainly ) then i played it....and thought for a minute, that EA may have actually done a decent booster pack, gotta give em credit for this one _________________

got mine yesterday as well as my g15 so trying to remember all the keys as been using the 2142 zboard lol looks nice and loving the extra rockets as well , couple of games had a bit of lag which made sniping a pain but overall looks a nice product and only 5.99 well worth a try _________________
