ok guy as topic says, do you think it would be a good idea to set the server up to swap sides each round to make it more fair on maps like gibralter (sp?)

I like the concept and think it really works on lots of maps.

My only problem with it is it seems to kill squads, meaning re setting up each time, which is a pita, but hardlyt a game killer.

Edit: poop, I hit no instead of yes.

aye i think we shud swap, farlsain if u think about it, we need to squad up on both sides of the fight to really know the map well, on Gibraltar im nearly always attacking and it gets repetitive

Voted yes
it's indeed a good thing to switch teams each round but is is posssible for the teams not to reset ?
Even so, i could be a good idea, helps not getting too used to one team and might make it easier for us to regroup in one of them

voted yes. Really good cos it gets so boring when u plaqy the same thing again and again. The squad thing is annoying but it makes it more interesting sometimes and gives other people a chance.

yes to roundswap, but only if the swap side team bug has been fixed, i would say wait for the 1.10 patch and see what's changed.

As I said, I do like the idea and it's always been nice to have that variety. Personally I can be happy with either.

Though honestly I seem to learn more when I am one side for two solid rounds then the other for two solid rounds. Admittedly that is far from the reality most of the time.

And lastly, as said before and as said above by Stu the squad being eaten bug is a pain in the bum, it's not hard to remake a squad but the unlocks is annoying. Would be nice if 1.10 fixes it.

I was one who voted no,reasons are i like trying to play the second round on the same side better than the last round and also the other thing which can happen with bugs is the ability not to make sqauds after a round change, still not fixed from BF2.

yeah switch sides cause on maps that 1 team starts with only 1 base it rarely wins

Im a seasoned fan of your server and think that sides should not change each round.
The reason for this is purely because it can take a bit of time and effort to sort out a good squad, and I dislike it when you have 15 seconds at the beginning of each round to reassemble.
Once you've found an effective squad, I like to think we can continue the battle next round immediately with minimum of fuss.

I have to say that since i voted i have been on a few servers that do swap sides each round and it does get a bit annoying having to re-create squads.

same for me, did spend some time on some titan servers which do swap sides after a round. It is very annoying to lose the squads...
