TP meet UP InfoAlright guys if we do indeed want to arrange the get together i think its best we have the full detals sorted out, like location, address, etc.
The sooner the better seeing as some of us are coming from outside the UKand need time to get the routes and hotles planned out.

sorry lads forgot about it once the xmas rush died down.
well im out of the eu from 13 -20 april, the missus is arrangeing 2 more out of uk trips but i dont know the dates.
okay as to what i found out before i stopped.
the lan group i was trying to get hold of has folded so no joy there.
i estimate those who would attend as 10(approx) regulars with dependants/parteners so that may add anywhere from 4-6 extra people to account for/entertain.
my current thinking is that we may have to attend a regular lan event like i27
as this would probably meet everyones needs and not cost a packet.( i was banking on using mine and gits homes to use as bases but it aint going to happen- hes moving in a few weeks).
so whats every one elses thoughts?

well i thought we was all just going to meet up for the weekend (ill stay in a hotal or travel lodge i dont mind) and just have a laugh and get to meet up, i still think paint ball would be great see whos the best in real life (girls can shop lol) mind you bet Disturbed comes out clean

thats why ive not mention much cause i am moving
but when me and eris get back off our hols if will be alot easy to sort

doh idiot !! I being thinking (not hard) 4 a cpl of month were we could host this lan !!
well my mate lives in hall in loughborough leciestershire (doh idiot me), would be perfect place and its well big enough to hold any event we might think of and there is more than loads of floor space to crash, bit cold tho
will need to check out but i cant c it being a problem (sleeping there might tho), also there is no internet at this site besides a phone line and no heating in the main hall area - there is a toliet and basic kitchen, i would also have to compensate my mates but it shouldn't be two bad
idea beteenn late july/ early august (inc stevies dates)
1. meet friday evening (pub ?)
2 sat morning/day paint balling, ladies shopping
3 sat evening possible go out 4 group meal
4 sunday play lan games or something as ppl disapear during day
or
1. meet friday - lan games
2. sat - lan games
3 sun - lan games
or a mixure of the above
i also as i am moving and can offer this place up between 8/9/10/11 april but u would need a sleeping bag and i might be only to get two spare machines running on a 8 port lan with 2gb internet connection, but this idea might be a bit too soon for some of u so let me know what u think on all the above

not keen on using the hall- it comes associated with problems we cannot control. the guy who rents it is a nice bloke but he has some very dodgey mates, who have a habit of turning up all the time.
we would also have to listen to john all weekend and i may kill him if i have to listen to him for that long.( you just know he would turn up, he might entertatin peeps for 30 min but then everyone would want to kill him after an hour.)
apart from that it would be perfect, sigh.
