Server host findings and work on bugsMultiplay are pressing EA/Dice on the following issues they have found, as you all may be aware, the servers are rock solid, however the server client software and BF2142 are very buggy, here is what our server host has found and is doing.......
BattleField 2142 - Stability test
We are running a stability test on one of our machines here.
For all of those interested in making BF2142 servers stable please give the following servers a good old bashing so we can provide as much feedback to EA and Dice as possible.

BattleField 2142 - Unlocks issue
Some of you may have had the issue where you join a server and don't receive your unlocks.
Well we've written a ModManager module which tracks the details of unlock requests and logs them so we can help EA / Dice / GameSpy locate and hence fix the issue.
The bad news is that this issue is random and we have been having real trouble capturing it while it was happening.
The good news is that thanks to a support call this morning from one the members from the Monkehs clan we have now captured this issue and have sent the details off to GameSpy which will hopefully lead to a fairly quick fix.
In the mean time if you have this rejoining the server a few mins later will usually correct the situation.
BattleField 2142 - Crashes today
The EA BattleField 2142 master servers have been suffering issues today an unfortunately this has had a knock on effect to the servers themselves in the form of additional crashes and massive amounts of players dropping from the servers.
We have made EA aware of these issues and REQUESTED that the servers reliance on the master server be removed as its a massive single point of failure. Fingers crossed they will take our advice and fix this issue in a patch.
