I don't yet have a PSP but surely you can't open it up easily and customise it like a PC?

no you do not open it up, no need, simply downgrade the firmware, and run emulators direct from memory stick, 2gb sticl is best, also allows you to run iso's dirct from stick also.

You do know that only certain firmwares will let you do that A.K.A 1.5 is the best for that and if you don't own the game it self its illegal, just some may like to know.
P.S emulation on a PSP is slow and a pain in the arse trust i spent about a month trying to emulate so your PSP firmware is likely to be very out of date.

only things that suffer are amiga ans other types of machines as they have custom chips that are hard to emulate, all the old stuff like snes mega drive and back are fine.
Provided you get the right emulator.

thats all well but I've check the terms and conditions and you must own the original game or its illegal and most of the roms are protected by some kind of union trying to crack down on pirecy trust me m8 i've been in the emulation scene for over a year now so i know whats ligit and whats not.

every1 had done illegal stuff but whos going to find out? lets take your signature.cant you see it had copyright on it?editing it without permission is illegal

Does anyone know any easy way to put DVD's from your comp into your PSP by some-how formatting it (plz explain in non comp language). Or any trustworthy internet sites that sell a lot of UMD's- amazon only have a few.

firmware 1.5 required, you need to downgrade to this version, then use one of the many divx conversion tools
