Maybe something to watch out for??Well at 1st i thought wierd but now i seem to see it happen a fair few times.
What im on about is a possible hack or bug with kits, i have picked up some players kits who are doing surprisingly well and in my hand i have weapons which shouldnt be with that kit.
Once i picked up an assault kit with defib, but the main gun was a bianchi lmg, i was confused and thought bah only a bug but it happened again and i had assault rifle aswell as a sniper rifle,helps alot but seems fishy to me.

sounds like a select anything hack to me, however knowing dice it is probably another BF Bug lol
there are certanly loads of hacks out there, unsurprisingly as BF2142 is just a re-skinned BF2!

I've seen this bug on unreal tournament. Other forums hve told me that there is a website that is dedicated to messing up games like this. You can download one or two but after that you have to pay. You can also buy packages. How Sad! Someone on the server might have this bug at the time you are on but if not, I have no idea.LOL

Google wont return much help without you installing a bunch of active x controls that will eat your system if you don't know how to contain them.
If you're familiar with any of the newsgroups, especially the ones you pay for membership/download access you'll find every little hack out there.
Wall hack -wireframe and skinned (they can see you on the over side of the map either as a wireframe model or a bright red/blue player depending upon team).
Aimbot -these are assisted with the use of skinned players of the blue/red variety. Aiming directly at the enemies head until they die or the bot gets a lock on another enemy and jerks the crosshair from head to head.
Firebot -Yes, it presses the fire button for you when Aimbot finds a head .. (lol lets not bother playing at all eh? Now we just need a bloody run/move bot so we can sit back and read a book while playing)
Radarhack -all enemy players show up on the map 100% of the time. Perma UAV.
Then you have the really crap stuff that messes with the netcode and murders your personal hitboxes to the point of non existance.
Player health/armor values (how does 60 or 90% armor absorb to the body instead of the 30% provided by the heavy armor sound?)
Infinite grenades, no weapon recoil, no crosshair bob when scoped.
Lasty client/server spoofing software so it becomes impossible to grab an accurate screen of the players window when using all this, you will be shown what a normal stock player would output. Not that 90% of the hacks need this anyway but there are a couple of the netcode changes that are shown on client grabs.
Yay for game hacks where people replace skill and dedication with pathetic apathy and needing a leg up over the average honest player.

someone who owned a lan cafe stuck them on a machine to show people what was possible and it was scary

Aye, two minutes searching google will bring up plenty of fraps'd videos of people "owning" while they cheat.
CS:S is kinda funny when people set up non VAC servers and name them battle of the cheaters. Spectating and seeing people clearly aiming at others heads before they even come around the corner is amusing when its other cheaters getting shot.
