I was kicked from your server and it seems like I have been removed from the reserved list, my question is why?

I believe you were kicked for Spawn Camping, and you were given a reason in game for the kick.

meag is right you was kicked for spawn camping which is against server rules as to promote a better teamwork enviroment. your not removed from the reserve list it just takes a few mins for you to get back on.

Hope that clears it up for you just dont camp flags or spawn beacons (blow them up).

He was in my squad this evening, and was kicked while at the back flag on Camp Gibraltar, which as you know is NOT an uncappable base, He was guarding the front 2 entrances to the flag area (out of 6 possible routes) in the stolen robot which spawns there while the rest of the squad tried to take the flag.

As you may or may not know the only flags the robots can get close enough to take are the front three, which we already had capped, so there wasnt anything else he could do really. Where he was isnt a main spawn point, and you didn't have a beacon there. You dont even get a clear view of the flag, so your defense should have been unaffected really.

Incidently i didnt see a warning either, not that there wasnt one but it was pretty hectic at that time, the rest of us wonedered where he had gone for the next 5 minutes. Bassically i too am wondering what rule was broken, except for killing TP members too much Rolling Eyes

Because armour anywhere could be considered Base raping by this new criterea.

Thanks that does clear it up a little, but on Gibraltor where is the Walker supposed to be? we already had the 1st flag and were in the process of getting the back one.

Dont start stating rules to us and saying we kicked him coz we was killed by him too much, the reason he was kicked was because although its not an uncappable the place he was killing was a direct spawn for that rear flag and we observed he did not move his guns from this location meaning as soon as one of our team constantly spawned there he didnt even get chance to move, this is still considered as spawncamping.

spawn camping is something we are trying to stamp out, along with base raping the red circles, as this infuriates players who repeatedly spawn and die without being able to move, hence as the others have said resulted in a kick.

the reason we kick a player is that they do not often see the warnings weput up in server, so a "time out" often forces the player to ask the question "why was i kicked" when returning to server or posting in forums.

You can usually rejoin within a couple of minutes at the end of the round or map change.

Hi guys i was also with Genghis and to be fair he was moving along the front section trying to cover us as we attempted to take the back flag. I also never noticed any warning, but it was a bit mad, all i can suggest is you guys get a better system to warn ppl bigger letters for example or get your message to appear in the middle of the screen.

Hope this is taking into consideration the next time we give you lot a good kicking............ LMAO ............. good hunting.

Although the idea of using oversize text for admin messages is a good idea to avoid confusion without having to kick people.

the trouble we are having is that most of us cant alt tab out to use the admin software it crashes bf2142 plus bfcc is not working (waiting on patch lol) so all we have is the in game chat which as you no stays on the screan for all of half a second Confused

the only thing we can do is pause the server to make the message easy to view, otherwise ppl tend to miss all the messages wer put up.

you are limited by clanforge and bf2142cc as to what you can do.
