Just wondering- Does the demo do the game any justice(Graphics etc.). Can u fly around the world (1 side to the other etc.), Does aything change(like 2142 ranks and unlocks) and is it really worth £60- cos 2142 wasn't that expensive and that is SO enjoyable- does fsx come anywhere close. Want to know before I spend £60. Can u answer these even if u only now 1 answer.

if memory serves, demo is time limited and also region limited, however i can tell you that unless you have a super hot top of the range gaming rig, FSX is not for you right now, however if you can put up with FSX on low-med low settings, it is by fgar the best flight sim out there.

the demo is ok to see what its all about (no harm in getting it) its around a small island i forget where but its a nice place
you can fly anywhere in the world, the whole way round in 1 hit if you want, theirs no unlocks or ranks but you do have missions you can do right from the beggining of how to taxi a plane right to rescueing workers off an exploding oil rig but remeber this is a simulator not a game as such theirs no guns or bombs its all about flying planes from an old small cub to the biggest airliners out their with all working instruments,
if you find flying a small cessna out from a small mountain strip across the mountains and valleys in nice sunny weather into a big city area finding your airport in very bad weather being banged about in high winds, rain, lighting and turbulance all in actual real world weather in real time so if its rain their right now, it will be the same weather in your sim and pulling off the perfect landing, if thats sounds fun then you will love it but if not then dont waste your money this game is all about flying the planes right down to realistic gauges scenery weather and flight models you can get but as stu says you need a good system to run it (still very good on low settings by the way)
hope that helps ya

those core duo 6600's can be overclocked like a mother, and will outperform a AMD athlon 64 FX60!
that is a £400 chip on it's own.
