Get it or not?

ive been thinking of getting flight simulator x for a while now but
is it realy worth the £42 at the least(that ive found new). i mean
is it realy that good.

Also what is better for the price does everyone think the deulux edition or just the normal edition?

if anyone else has any good places/sites that have cheaper prices plz tell me. Very Happy

if your gonna get it go for delux but honestly if you want it because it's something for you to do out of boredom then dont because you'll just ditch it after a couple of weeks, this is a game which takes alot of time to learn and also, i dont knwo who still plays it to this day, but yeah it's a very good game if you actually want to learn, it's a challenge Razz

Convilement's right, I have FSX, as u know and because i've neveer been on any flight simulator before so it took me a very long time to learn everything from the basics up, I'm only a third of the way through the lessons.

But from what I've heard FSX has got the best facilities for beginners- like you. The learning centre is HUGE and the lessons, from a real professional pilot cover every aspect and problem of flying. The multiplayer is great and the overall detail (especially Lancashire) are very realistic.

So really yes, it's worth the money if you have the processing power + graphics card. But you need a lot of time and patience, unlike 2142.

If you have this and the ambition to be a good and experienced pilot get 2142.

It you don't have a lot of patience don't get it.

Even if the graphics aren't as good as you thought, don't worry directX 10 and Vista will make it even better than it is now and it's already incredible! Cool

Thank for your opinion ill proberly still get it when the price goes down a bit though

The price is really low on amazon-£43 (28% off) tis won't last forever, instead of £60-£70 on the high street. Also the price won't go down any time soon- it might be down by summer, but only by about £5 or £10, But the amazon deal will have ended so it'll still be more expensive. Rolling Eyes

price is unlikely to drop for at least 12 months, FSX will hold that price for a very long time, they always do.
