EA linkI know there's still loads of problems with 2142 but is ea link one of them?
I've heard it can cause the crash to desktop and cause loads of lag. Is this true?

it is a buggy bit of software, if you want to use ea link wait till they get it running better( say 3-6months knowing ea  )

from my experiences, downloading a patch caused me 2 hours of hastle uninstalling my corrupted bf2142 and cleaning my system up.
so i would not touch it with a bargepole.

i only needed to reinstal it once to set my settings to english
but i never had bugs or stuff like that my only prob is that sometimes
i get a really high ping
but i do not have prob's with the EA-link

naa i dont get problem with it i just have it because it free, fast and easy to run so voila, perfecto. BUT with some people i have heard so much go wrong with it corrupting things and crashing everything so its a risk. It either runs fine or youve got a problem!
