Black Screeningeverytime i go on bf 2142 i always get like a black screen flash on for like 3 seconds then go back off and it'll be laggy for like 10 second's and i have no idea why, my graphics are all on high but my pc should be able to handle it.
2 gigs of ddr2 ram
2x 120 GB hard drives
ATI Radeon x1800xt
Dual 3.2 gghz processor
Any help is appreciated.

unistall bf( i'm a buggy peice of sh*t) and install solitaire.
problem solved.
sorry dont know the answer to your problem but it sounds like something is updating(the adverts maybe?).

the game doesnt suport ati cards yet lots of threads like this on fever gaming
from what i have read ati owners are all getting lots of niggly problems
