you will laugh at this one, EA are actually blaming admins for server crashes:

People who updated via downloads from other providers (e.g. FileFront) or via the full patch do not seem to be causing problems. DICE are currently in liason with the people who reported this behavour and we are hopeful that they'll issue another patch soon which reverses any such issues. Until then we're powerless to influence the crash issue, as is everyone else. |

Any way, that's a load of bull cause I used EA Downloader as well and it still crashes your BF. |
