1 for atc and 1 for environmentFSX has the capability to have atc sound coming through headphones and environmental noises, aircraft & wind and shit, coming through speakers.
The popular way to do this is with 2 soundcards, but I have happened upon an easier, and cheaper, way to do it.
Buy a USB Headset (mic and headphones).
When you plug in the headset it's almost as if you are plugging in another soundcard, so you can configure windows to send all sound playback to your default speakers and all voice playback (atc etc) to your headset. This also works in the same way as farslain explained about running teamspeak on 1 soundcard and games on another.
