--BRIG8-- VS +=TP=+hello people ,
i played on your SF-server a couple of days ago and you guys said that you were in for a friendly match sometimes . I suggest we plan this match somewhere after the 2nd of June (at least a week after it ) in think the 14th would be a suitable date for our clan but if that doesnt suit you guys we can always arrange something else.
I hope to hear from you guys soon and look forward to playing against you.
If you want to contact me hit me up on Xfire or MSN

jep , we have no space left in may and we got a match on the 2nd of June against EWC. The weekend after that isnt good for me so thats why i suggested to play on Wednesday the 14th of June , but if you guys rather play in weekends than we can reschule it to the 17th or the 18th maybe

Alrighty than.... you guys get to choose the maps we play on . Do you guys have an unranked war-server? If not we'll be playing on ours . I don't think there will be any lag since most of you guys are from the UK and Holland , right?
What rules do you guys suggest? Should we allow unlocks? Should there be a commander etc. etc. E-mail me or post in this thread please .

After Match ReportRound 1. Sharqi peninsula +=TP=+ MEC Attacking
As we suspected, this map is an absolute arse to attack. This wasn't helped by the fact that brig8 probably knew it inside out and we didn't really have any tactics for it. As a result we got wiped out.
Round 2. Sharqi peninsula +=TP=+ US Defending
Despite us having no formal tactics we were able to pick up a lot from brig8 in the previous round. The key to the map was the office complex. Once they had this they had us running around trying to stop them breaking out whilst they were in a position to just hide in the buildings and pick us off at will. They made several breaks for the TV station but were repulsed everytime. This however took a lot of effort and meant breaking off the attack for the office complex. Their tank was extremely effective at both keeping our tank subdued and providing support to the rest of the team. A tip for the future is to keep an engineer AND a supply crate next to tanks to provide quick repair and re arm. End result was that we were eventually worn down to lose the match 15 - 0.
Round 3. Operation Clean Sweep +=TP=+ US Attacking
We had the tactics, we just lacked a little bit of cohesion. First off we got shot of the sky by their pilot. Then when we got to the flag and secured it very quickly, Austin dropped 10 tonne of bombs on us (purely by accident) . After this we had to constantly fight off their counter attacks to try and retake the flag. Our only problem this round was that we weren't able to break out from the airstrip and as a result the tickets counted down and we lost 10 - 0.
Round 4. Operation Clean Sweep +=TP=+ MEC Defending
This was where our previously defined tactics and communication came to play. We knew how to defend all the flags without losing them and annihilated the enemy. Austin excelled in the jet and everyone else, particularly Omaos, fought well to fight off any attempts by brig8 to get on the island and establish a foothold.
Summary.
At times the squads formed didn't always stick together and this made it harder to secure objectives. The Teamspeak channel was sometimes flooded by effing this and effing that, which didn't hold any relevance to the match and should have really kept to absolute minimum to allow the commander to give instructions on enemy movements effectively. The final thing to note is that when supplies were needed, the quickest way to get them is to use your keyboard shortcuts. The soldier requests them EXACTLY where he wants them, the squad leader presses page up and so does the commander. This is by far the most effective to get the supplies you need when and where you need them.
Overall it was a thoroughly good match and only hampered by a lack of training and planning before hand.
Well done everyone.
