Have u tried all the methods on the internet on how to try get around the ring of death like unplug all cables/take HD off and try it,hit it a few times with HD off and try it.
Also there is a code on the MS site somehwere, possibly on google if u type in"360 cache clear code" along those lines, which wipes the console and HD of updates which may be the cause of the problem.
Is it under warranty still as if not prepare to get rid of £85 quid for repair, well its not repair really its just a secondhand fixed console from them.
If its your 1st console and not a year old you can get an exchange of faulty goods at the place u bought it if it was a shop, its standard UK law on electrical items. _________________
I tried all the fixes but no luck, it kept on rearing it's ring . However, my console is 13 months old and according to Micro$oft, there is a 14 month 'goodwill' period which I am elegible for, so I get it done free of charge. It's now boxed and waiting for the Men in Brown to collect.
At last the world will see the true nature of the X-Box. Sucking all humanities best gamers to the dark side and then just when they thought they was all powerfull. BAMB its all gone..............
And Bill Gates sits on his throne of power rubbing his hand with glee as his followers bow before the great 14 month grace period.
Who knows the full extent of his evil plans....Some say he is trying to force the world into a 3rd world war by using microsoft funds to build a gamer army.....some say his spending that cash on mutant microsoft monkeys who will slit your throat if you try to return out of warrenty.
Me? I know Bills secret......his birth mark on the crown of his head 666 _________________
aye, you would expect them to have performed stringent testing of their design, in TV manufacture we used to do all sorts of nasty things like blocking up all the air vents with cling film and then letting them bake for weeks to find such issues as overheating and heat related premature failure.
Will be interesting to see how the PS3 compares, at least when Sony found issues they held the worldwide release back several months. _________________
