you missed the point mate, the 1.5 FW allows you to run all emulators and homebrew without encryption, it also allows you to run image files (ISO's).

-the main reason for the firmware updates was to stop people using the PSP in this manner, so not all firmware updates are good.

this firmware blocks the hole in the 2.5/2.8 firmware which allowed some of the 1.5 FW options (homebrew) to be used via an exploit in GTA:liberty city stories.

i already know about those homebrew but i don't really care about games more about the options and so on
