Hi all not changed anything exept 1:10 patch and now the game plays for about 2 mins then CTD tried different servers and all that, anyone else having same prob ??

i got the same prob but its since i reformatted..its so annoying i cant take it anymore Crying or Very sad

i tried to re-install battlefield 2142 and EA link but still nothing.

don't use ea link it can cause all sorts of issues.
beyond that keep on trying you will get it wrking again(hopefuly not to far in the future)

Same here but havn't used EA link i've re-installed updated PB and even put newer graphics driver on but still same. I can still run BF2 and BFSF without a problem think i'm gonna try different 1:10 patch see if that helps.

yup, sounds like a patch issue as the other bfs run okay.

Sorted it strange as it sounds turns out it was sound drivers AC97 put new ones on and hey presto no more problems Laughing

bizzare, it should use the same drivers for bf2.
